Unit Detail
Create and publish the commercial listing for a unit — pricing, specs, images, and the marketing contact for inquiries.
What it’s for
While a Unit is the physical record, Unit Detail is its commercial listing: price, specs, images, and whether it’s publicly visible. A unit has at most one. This is the only place that can make a unit For Sale or For Rent — see Units for why.
Where to find it
On a unit’s own detail page, under Housing → Units. There’s no separate menu item — you get here by opening a unit.
Who can use it
- See the listing — needs view and get.
- Create, edit, delete the listing — needs create/update/delete, each a separate permission from the base unit’s own.
How to…
Create a listing
- Open the unit and start a new listing.
- Choose For Sale or For Rent.
- Set the matching price — sale price if For Sale, rent price if For Rent. Whichever you pick is required.
- Optionally set a discount price — it can’t exceed the sale price.
- Fill in area, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage, floors, and electricity capacity.
- Pick a marketing contact — this is who inquiries route to.
- Add images, a video link, a brochure, and a description.
- Decide whether to publish it now or save as unpublished.
- Save. This also updates the unit’s own status to match.
Publish or unpublish a listing
- Open the listing and toggle publication.
- Save.
Delete a listing
- The listing must be unpublished first, and the unit’s own status must be moved off For Sale/For Rent — deletion is blocked otherwise.
- Once those are cleared, delete.

Rules & statuses
Publishing this listing doesn’t guarantee it’s publicly visible. A listing only shows up on the public marketplace when every one of these is true at once:
- The listing itself is published.
- Its cluster is published (Housing Cluster).
- The developer’s own account is published.
- It has a price set.
- The unit hasn’t already sold.
If any of those isn’t met, the public page reports exactly which one instead of just hiding the listing — worth checking there first if a listing “isn’t showing” and everything here looks right.
Saving a listing updates the unit’s own status to match, but this sync is best-effort — if it fails, the listing is still saved, and the mismatch resolves on the next save rather than being retried automatically.
