Siteplan
Place units as markers on the cluster's siteplan image so buyers can see where each unit sits.
What it’s for
The Siteplan is the cluster’s map image with units pinned onto it — this is where you place each unit at its actual position, so both your team and buyers can see the layout.
Where to find it
Sidebar → Sales → Siteplan. The URL is /admin/housing/siteplan — it lives under Housing in the app’s routing even though it’s grouped under Sales in the sidebar.
Who can use it
- See the menu item, open the page, and view unit placements — needs view and get.
- Place or move a unit’s marker — needs update. Without it, the page opens in view-only mode even if you try to switch to edit.
On this screen
The cluster’s siteplan image with a marker for every unit that’s been placed, and a count of how many are placed. Two modes: View and Edit, switchable from the top of the page if you have permission.
If the cluster has no siteplan image yet, the page tells you to upload one from the Housing Cluster edit form — it can’t be done from here.
How to…
Place or reassign a unit
- Switch to Edit mode.
- Click anywhere on the image.
- Pick a unit from the list to place at that point.
Check a unit from the map
- In either mode, click an existing marker to see that unit’s detail.

Rules & statuses
A unit can only be placed if the cluster has a siteplan image uploaded. That upload happens on the Housing Cluster page, not here — this page only places units onto an image that already exists.
