Unit Marketplace — Sales Assistance

What it’s for

This is how a prospect asks to be contacted about a specific unit — pick a salesperson (or let one already assigned stay assigned), send the request, and the sales team follows up.

Where to find it

Part of a unit’s detail screen, in Unit Marketplace — not a separate tab.

Which session

Public only. A Developer Resident cannot make this request, even from a Public Session — the option isn’t offered to them.

On this screen

A card on the listing detail: “Need help with this unit?” If the listing already has a request on it, this shows who owns it instead of offering to pick again. If nothing’s been requested yet, tapping through opens a list of the developer’s available salespeople to choose from.

How to…

Request assistance

1. Open a for-sale unit’s detail.
2. Tap Request Sales Assistance.
3. Choose a salesperson from the list, or confirm the one already suggested.
4. Submit.

Check an existing request

1. Reopen the same unit’s detail — the same card now shows your assigned salesperson instead of the request option.

Try again after a cancellation

1. If your previous request on this unit was cancelled, the card tells you so and lets you submit a new one.

Rules & statuses

This only works for a Financing-eligible Listing — a published unit offered for sale; rental listings have no sales-assistance option at all.

Repeating a request on a unit whose sales process is still open, or already closed successfully, doesn’t create a second request — it shows you the existing one. The screen also explains exactly why a request isn’t available when it isn’t: the listing isn’t eligible, the unit’s already sold, your account isn’t eligible, or the developer currently has no salesperson to assign.
